This is a brief description on research between animal products and breast cancer. As always, be sure to read the research papers and draw your conclusions from there.
Research has shown that countries with the highest milk drinkers also have the highest rates of breast cancer. In 2015, it was found that more breast cancer rates developed in the presence of Bovine Leukemia Virus (BLV). The DNA of this virus was found plentifully in the breast tissues with those who had breast cancer. BLV is heavily found in meat and dairy. One research paper found 94 percent out of the 4120 dairy cows tested carried BLV. BLV exposure could increase the risk of getting breast cancer by four times. Twenty-one nations have gotten rid of BLV from cattle. In the case of eggs, current research found that moderate consumption of eggs did not show any correlation with breast cancer in meta-analysis studies. However, studies did show an increased risk for breast cancer with individuals that consumed five eggs or more a week.
